The clock struck 12:00 on Friday 30th and the Month came to a close...The celebrated down-down at the DNH (Dutch Nash Hash) venue was a little muted as most Hashers were well on their way to normal Friday night oblivion..
The day started tamely with a wander around the Hague for a few hours taking in the sights (mostly debris from the previous night's party), a few drinks (coffee and tomato juice for me..) and finally off by car to the DNH venue...found some NABs that Neptunus had kindly put aside for me but had them promptly confiscated by BlackUdder and CSM as apparently they had traces of alcohol in them...a shame as I'm sure they tasted better than the real beer on offer...
What followed; A pub crawl without a pub....beer stops without beer (well eventually..)and a trail through the woods that would have tested even the greatest hasher...W&R lost her glasses on trail..cunningly left in the loos...CSM handing out goodies for the unsuspecting Hashers..a few notable casualties...
Dragged my sorry ar*e into bed at about 4:30 and woke 5 minutes before the 20.5k trail started at 11:00 on Saturday with a full month's hangover...never again (well until Saturday's party anyway...)
